On International Women’s Day, we were delighted to celebrate the pioneering spirit of women with leading global explorer Christina Franco and private society The Sorority.
Sorority members and guests enjoyed our delicious gin at the innovative private members’ club, South Kensington Club – inspired by a spirit of adventure and a multicultural perspective.
Christina’s dream is to become the first women ever to complete a solo expedition to the North Pole and it was a pleasure to have her share her intrepid adventures with us in the Voyager Club Room.
Imagine surviving -57°C temperatures whilst dragging a 90kg sleigh for 12 hours a day, then discovering you are four months pregnant.
