Jasmine

Our Exotic Jasmine Flowers are inspired by Willem Barentsz’ quest for a Northeastern trading route to China by way of the Sea. Our signature botanical gives Barentsz Gin an aromatic bouquet of jasmine flowers and produces a delicate and fresh flavour.

The core botanical for all gins. We use the finest juniper in just the right qunatity without being overpowering, to create a pioneering London gin.

The bitter Seville orange has warming soft cirtus notes that complement the other botanicals, such as cassia bark.

Corriander is the secnd core botanical, key to delivering the citrus flavours of our gin with a warm mustiness and spiced tang.

Almond gives depth and smoothness, and enhances the flavours of all the other botanicals.

Sweet on the nose, and in flavour; liquorice is an exotic botanical with a bittersweet and woody undertone.

Angelica Root

The thrid core botanical that delivers an earthy tone and a dry finish. It is aromatic and bitter, and helps to bind all the botanicals for a perfectly balanced taste.

Cassia Bark

Source of Origin: Indonesia

Used sparingly, cassia bark creates a base note which allows our gin to have a comlexity whilst remaining balanced. It is sweeter on the pallet than cinnamon with a subtle piquant note.

The root of the iris flower delivers a delicate floral base note of sweet violets whilst binding together the aromas of the other botanicals for a harmonious taste profile.
