Jerudong Park Polo Trophy

Willem Barentsz proudly supported the Jerudong Park Polo Trophy – Centrepoint’s charity polo match – at the historic Cirencester Park Polo Club on Saturday 25th June.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people, who are pioneering successful futures for 16-25 years olds with housing, learning, health and life skills.

Mr Seyi Obakin, Chief Executive Officer of Centrepoint, invited VIP supporters of the charity to enjoy this year’s Jerudong Park Trophy with HRH The Duke of Cambridge’s Cirencester Park Polo Team and Trewsbury Farm Polo Team, captained by Satnam Dhillon.

Guests were welcomed with a refreshing Willem Barentsz Gin and tonic infused with our signature botanical of exotic jasmine flowers.

Despite the testing weather conditions with a heavy fall of hail stones just before the game, it was a great match between the two teams with Trewsbury Farm winning 4 – 3 ½. The ‘Most Valuable Player’ went to HH The Maharaja of Jaipur of Trewsbury for his outstanding skills.

An excellent match and a day of discovery for those new to polo!
